Our Origins
Christ Way Ministries International began in the late 1970s as a modest Hospital Christian Fellowship, started by a small group of hospital workers who shared a passion for spiritual growth and evangelism. As membership expanded beyond the healthcare community, the name evolved to Christ Way Fellowship—and in November 1992, it was formally renamed Christ Way Ministries International.
Growth & Reach
What began as a gathering of just 90 believers in Ile‑Ife has grown into a thriving ministry of approximately 7,000 members, with 84 branches across seven Nigerian states—including local churches and fellowship centers in universities and colleges.
Leadership & Team
The ministry is headed by Pastor (Dr.) Samuel Odunlami Orioke, the General Overseer, who lovingly retired from his medical practice to focus fully on the ministry. The church headquarters in Ile‑Ife is supported by a team of over 150 pastors.
Our attitudes and practices have helped us individually and as a church to enjoy outstanding growth in all areas of human life. They have also won for us favour before God and man.
Building up Christians who are heaven-bound in word and deed. Equipping believers to live purposefully and impacttheir world. Preparing souls for eternity.
We are not like ‘every other’ church. We have intentionally planned our messages and trainings around these values.
